Udita Bhargava (b.1982) holds a Bachelor’s in English Literature from St. Stephen’s College at Delhi University and Master’s in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia. She has also studied Directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Her debut feature DUST, a German-Indian co-production premiered at the 69th Berlinale 2019. She has worked on several international film productions including Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, Lars von Trier’s Antichrist and Mira Nair’s The Migration. Her shorts have been awarded and screened at film festivals across the world including the 3Sat Prize at the Oberhausen Film Festival (Imraan, C/o Carrom Club). She is currently preparing her feature Eunuch with Schiwago Film Berlin while pursuing several other commissioned and independent projects. She lives and works between Germany and India.
